What happened to the bike path to Oka Beach?
The rest of the trip was easier and we enjoyed a beautiful 18 K bike ride from Hudson to the Hudson-Oka Ferry and from Oka to Oka Park and Oka Beach. We just couldn’t do longer stops in the forest with the huge amount of “aggressive” and hungry mosquitoes attacking us.

Popular moment when all students at Mount Pleasant School participated in the National wide Music Monday. Canadian Space Agency Astronaut and musician Chris Hadfield and Barenaked Ladies’ Ed Robertson have co-written the song for Music Monday 2013; officially titled I.S.S. (Is Somebody Singing). The song is being commissioned by CBCMusic.ca and The Coalition for Music Education to celebrate music education in schools across Canada.

Beautiful afternoon at Cap St. Jacques. A truly stunning public forest and beach on the West tip of Montreal Island. The West Island Youth Orchestra (Gabrielle is still part of this great orchestra) spent the weekend up here at a fantastic Music Camp.
